Oklahoma City, OK – Oklahoma’s own racing champion, Brady Bacon, is joining forces with The Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma for another exciting run at the Chili Bowl Nationals, the premier midget car racing event. This marks the third year of a partnership that celebrates Oklahoma's racing tradition and the vital contributions of its oil and natural gas industry.
Brady Bacon, a four-time USAC Sprint Car Champion and second all-time in USAC sprint car victories, will represent The Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma at the 2025 Chili Bowl, taking place January 13-18 at Tulsa's Expo Center.
“Racing, like Oklahoma’s energy industry, is built on precision, grit, and teamwork,” said Brook A. Simmons, President of The Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma. “The men and women of the oil and natural gas industry power the innovation that moves us forward, and Brady Bacon embodies that same drive and determination.”
For Bacon, the partnership is more than just a sponsorship—it’s a chance to showcase an industry deeply tied to Oklahoma’s identity. “I’m proud to represent The Petroleum Alliance and the energy professionals who fuel progress in Oklahoma,” Bacon said. “Their work impacts every aspect of our lives, and I’m honored to bring that spirit to the Chili Bowl event.”
Bacon’s #21 TKH Motorsports Midget Race Car, emblazoned with a design paying tribute to Oklahoma’s energy sector, will hit the track with 300-400 horsepower packed into a 900-pound frame. Fans can also look forward to special merchandise celebrating the collaboration between Bacon and The Petroleum Alliance.
“Our partnership goes beyond the track,” added Bacon. “Meeting members of The Petroleum Alliance and hearing their stories has been incredible. It’s about honoring their contributions to Oklahoma’s success.”
This dynamic collaboration between Brady Bacon and The Petroleum Alliance promises to electrify the 2025 Chili Bowl Nationals, blending the thrill of racing with the energy that drives Oklahoma forward.
