Mopar (short for MOtor PARts) is the automobile parts and service arm of the DaimlerChrysler American brands that were formerly owned by the Chrysler Corporation. The term was first used by Chrysler in the 1920s and has been in continuous use ever since. Many of the parts on these engines are available directly through the Mopar Performance “Speed” catalog, especially hard parts like engine blocks, cylinder heads, crankshafts, camshafts, and more. Engineers at Dodge Motorsports play an integral role in helping engine builders develop their own Mopar engines.
