Bacon Chases USAC Sprint Car History this Weekend
Lonnie Wheatley, WINCHESTER, Ind. (June 6, 2020) – At long last, Brady Bacon and the Hoffman Auto Racing Fatheadz Eyewear No. 69 Sprint Car team are back in action this weekend.
After sweeping the opening pair of events at Ocala, Florida’s Bubba Raceway Park in mid-February, “The Macho Man” vies to become the first driver in USAC National Sprint Car history to reel off three consecutive wins to start a season on Saturday night at West Burlington, Iowa’s 34 Raceway.
Following Saturday’s outing, Bacon and the USAC Sprint Car series move on to Pevely, Missouri’s Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway on Sunday night.
“It’s going to be so great to get back in the Sprint Car, it seems like it has been forever,” the two-time USAC Sprint Car champion says.
With Fatheadz Eyewear the newly-announced primary sponsor on the Hoffman Auto Racing No. 69 Sprint Car, the team looks to build upon its early points lead as Bacon seeks out a third USAC National championship.
While the Sprint Car has been idle since February, Bacon has busied himself in recent weeks with the T-Town Showdown promotional effort at Port City Raceway and then double-duty in Midgets and Micro Sprints in last weekend’s POWRi Turnpike Challenge.
Now, Bacon gets back to his comfort zone in the cockpit of the Fatheadz Eyewear No. 69 Sprint Car.
